According to The Traveling Team (thetravelingteam.org): the annual income of all church members is $70 trillion. Christians only give 1.86%, or $1.3 trillion) is tithed to Christian causes. On average 82% goes to Home ministries (in mostly Christian nations). In those same Christian nations, 12%, $156 billion, goes to Home Evangelism. And only, 6% of this “tithe”, $78 billion, goes to general missions.
Now here’s the “kicker”: only 1.7% of “Missions Giving” goes to work among unreached peoples. In other words, for the $100,000 that Christians make, they give $1.83 to the unreached.
