(From Pray4SouthAsia.com) While most Kaibartta people are in India, about 500,000 live in Bangladesh. Of these, only around 200 (0.04%) are Christian. Although they identify as Hindu, their strong belief in the spirit world reveals lingering animistic roots. Fishing has traditionally been their main occupation, yet they are socially looked down upon due to their extremely low caste status. The Kaibartta are a Frontier People Group–almost entirely unreached and without a church movement among them.
-Pray for Hindu and Muslim-background believers in Bangladesh to show love and compassion to the Kaibartta community.
-Pray for the few existing believers to grow deep in Christ and become effective disciple-makers.
-Pray for thegospel to bring both spiritual freedom and social upliftment to the Kaibartta.
-Pray that entire households would turn to Jesus and that small fellowships would be planted among them.
