(From God Reports, godreports.com; photo from God Reports). In a small town in the Horn of Africa Mohamad grew up like most children in his community — born into a Muslim family and in Islamic traditions. Daily prayers at the mosque and the teachings of Islam were all he knew.
That began to change when several of his friends embraced faith in Isa (Jesus). Knowing Mohamed’s good character, they felt comfortable sharing their newfound beliefs with him and even invited him to follow Isa as well. Mohamed politely declined but remained close to his friends, occasionally joining their Bible study.
Over time, the Bible stories and truths he heard during these gatherings began to leave a deep impression on him. Sometimes, he even shared what he was learning with his family. This continued for several months, with Mohamed quietly observing and pondering.
