(Pray4SouthAsia, pray4southasia.com) has been highlighting stories of average people in South Asia who are making a real difference in the lives of those around them by praying and witnessing to the power of God in their lives. Abigail* is from northeastern India and has served in missions for almost 20 years. One of her roles is to mobilize churches and other believers to reach people groups with little or no access to the Gospel. Earlier this year she led a missions workshop at a large church in the region. The sessions deeply moved a group of women. As a result, they adopted an unreached Bhutanese people group for prayer. After faithfully praying for many months, they visited remote villages where members of this people group lived. What they saw moved them so deeply that they decided to provide regular financial support to the field workers serving there. In missions, some people go. Others, like these women, help send and support them through prayer and giving.
– Praise God for people like Abigail, who educate, inspire, and awaken the Body of Christ to the needs of the unreached.
– Praise God for the women who responded by praying and deciding to give regularly to those serving in the field.
– Pray that the work among this Bhutanese people group will grow, multiply, and produce lasting fruit.
