PRAY FOR THE PERSECUTED!

We have often told you about persecuted Christians around the globe in this blog, and this coming Sunday, November 2 is a very special day when churches, globally, will pray for their persecuted brothers and sisters in nations like India, Pakistan, Nigeria, China, North Korea, Iran, and elsewhere. You may have heard of “The Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church”, and the well-known ministry of Voice of the Martyrs has been a force behind this movement for many years. Today other ministries, like the International Missions Board and New Wineskins are also helping spread the word about this important day of intercession.

To aid you in mobilizing prayer for the persecuted, Voice of the Martyrs (persecution.com) has produced a very impactful 5-minute video about a couple in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as well as other materials. And while it may be too late to obtain their bulletin inserts, etc. for this Sunday, you can download their video for free by following this LINK. We encourage you to be the “mission mobilizer” in your church and pray for the persecuted church!
