For some reason, the Gospel of Christ has always struggled to make inroads in this East Asian culture…even more so than in some other Asian nations. Perhaps it is the overall wealth of the nation (i.e.,”I live comfortably and always have! Why should I change my beliefs?”) or, perhaps, it is the issue of a highly globalized youth culture struggling with tradition alongside the generation of the aged. Whatever the reasons, please pray for the beautiful nation of Japan!
