Pray For Muslims During Ramadan!

The month of Ramadan, February 18 to March 17, 2026, is the holiest season or month in the Islamic calendar. Muslims all over the world, practicing and non-practicing, show piety, commitment, seek forgiveness and reward from Allah. It is marked by daily fastings (sawn) from dawn to sundown. Muslims do several acts of righteousness to fellow Muslims in order to seek the goodwill and blessings of Allah. The obligatory fasting begins the spotting of the moon on the 17th for the period of 30 days.

The month of Ramadan commemorates the revelation of the Qur’an to the Islamic prophet Mohammed. The fasting is to foster discipline, gratitude, and spiritual closeness to Allah. Deep and extra prayers are offered with reflections. The climax is the Laylat al-Qadr (the night of power). It is the holiest and most significant night of the year to Muslims. It marks several profound, spiritual and historical events to Islam.

Some of these events include the nights: of the first revelation of the Qur’an in AD 610; that the whole Qur’an descended from the highest heaven to the lowest heaven; of decrees and power; of immeasurable spiritual rewards; of total forgiveness; of angelic visitations and perfect peace; and, the night of total peace and tranquility.

We encourage you during this season of Ramadan to pray daily for Muslims everywhere. Pray that they will have dreams and visions of Jesus as many Muslims believe dreams to be highly symbolic. To help you pray more effectively, here is a brief video on the basics of Islam.
