Here in the USA this is a huge holiday: On July 4, 1776, the American Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. Signing that document officially declared the American colonies independence from Great Britain. Thus the next few days will be a combination of good ol’ fashioned “Americana”: family gatherings, picnics, outdoor sports, and fireworks! Enjoy this holiday, and thank God for our independence!
